Conrad Jupiters Gold Coast

Conrad Jupiters is located on the gold coast. Originally owned by Conrad Black the casino is now owned by TAB Corp. It is located next to Broadbeach which is one of the most famous stretch of beaches on the Gold Coast. The casino is a little set back from the beach situated right on the Nerang River which gives it a wonderful outlook. I have even fished the Nerang River only a few hundred metres from the casino. I would love to tell you the river is teaming with wildlife, but that would be untruthful.

The Casino offers first rate accommodation, excellent dining and has all the regular casino games that you would expect from a venue of this stature. The games I remember seeing were:

Blackjack;

Spanish Blackjack;

Big Wheel;

Mini-Baccarat;

Roulette;

Texas Hold’em Poker;

Craps.

Recently they also introduced texas holdem poker as well.

The Casino was fully renovated in 2006, meaning that accommodation is not dated like many other casinos of that era.

However, the thing about this casino that sets it apart is the location. Just minutes away is Broadbeach which is right in the heart of one of the most famous beach stretch in all of Australia. If you are into surfing then you can surf right from this main beach, or it’s a short drive to other famous surf beach locations such as the heads.

As a side note, I would not eat the fish. I run a Income Protection insurance Quotes and Trauma insurance business and when I visited the Gold Coast on a conference we took a charter boat out fishing in the deep channel that runs right along the coast a few hundred metres off shore. We caught a bunch of large Bonito Tuna which was a shock to me how close they were to the coast. We asked Jupiters to freeze them for us until we were leaving with the intention of taking them with us. We totally forgot and assume they are still in the freezer some 6 years later.
